We’ve chosen three coffees for our selection box that highlight different flavours and roasts and would make for a fun afternoon tasting.
The coffees in the box will change seasonally – our current selection (100g each):
- Finca La Piragua (Colombia) –
Red grapes, raspberries, medium acidity, jammy body, medium roast - Fazenda Santa Inês (Brazil) –
Cocoa, caramel, subtle acidity, full body, dark roast - Finca Santa Catalina (Guatemala) –
Candied satsuma, milk chocolate, medium acidity, full body, medium to dark roast
Don’t forget to select how you’d like your coffee – whole beans or ground for the brew method you use.
Grind Guide
Cafetière
A coarse grind also suitable for cold brew. We use the word cafetière, but this can also be referred to as a French press, plunger or press pot.Aeropress slow
Suitable for making a long, filter style coffee, often brewed for a few minutes. Similar to our paper filter setting.Filter
This is suitable for our paper filters and ceramic or plastic cones, along with other brands such as V60, Clever dripper and Melitta.Stovetop
This is an espresso style grind suitable for use in hob top espresso pots such as a Bialetti or Grunwerg. Sometimes referred to as a moka pot.Aeropress fast
This is also an espresso style grind ideal for brewing a short, concentrated, espresso style coffee in an Aeropress.Domestic espresso
A fine grind for using in your home espresso machine. Grind requirements will vary depending on brand and model, but this setting aims to work for the majority of home setups.Whole beans
